Requirements
To be a good fit for the Director of Operations position, you will need:- Experience as an operations leader in an environment that dealt with both products and customers
- A proven ability to lead multiple teams
- A bachelors degree

The Role
You will report to the new CFO who is looking for someone he can entrust with taking the existing Operations Department from where it is to where it needs to be in order to support our projected growth.
The Operations function has grown considerably. There are processes in place but we will look to you to help the company reach our next evolution by honing Operations. This will require you to build for future capacity, not our existing volume of business.
The CFO's preferred management style is to lead by objectives/tasks versus continual monitoring. If you know you are a self-starter who can be depended on to deliver, this would be a good collaboration for you. You will be given what you need to implement the strategic plan we create together.
There are multiple channels in the beauty world:
- Digital/online
- Company-owned retail stores
- Professional channels
- Other retail
WHERE WE ARE NOW
Our products are shipped to our Simi Valley location from third parties. Once received in our 30,000+ s.f. warehouse, our various products are assembled, packaged and direct shipped to our customer and stores. Doing this work are +5 warehouse employees.
Our Customer Service Department also report to you; they spend the vast majority of their time responding to issues as they come in via phone and email. About Us
The company has experienced significant growth over the last 2 years, and is expected to launch new products, open new retail store locations and expand its current sales channels in the next 6-24 months.
During September 2016, the Company acquired Mirabella LLC, a cosmetics company based in Santa Clarita, CA (www.mirabellabeauty.com) that sells through primarily through Salon Centric, a sales distribution channel to salons.
Bellami has approximately 60 FTEs today. Immediate plans to expand this FTE base considerably over the next 3-24 months.
